Very happy with the service

Alfie and his team were very friendly and efficient. They dismantled all our large furniture, carried it down two flights of stairs, and built it all up on the other side.

Highly recommend their service.

Honestly, the worst movers I have ever hired

Below is a list of everything they did:

Broke our bed and a bedside table

Didn’t arrive with an empty van (including a hamster cage)

Alfie was on the phone ALOT instead of moving our stuff (we were paying by the hour)

Wasted time deliberately by “organising” their van

They refused help from my partner, again to make sure the delivery took longer and they get a higher payment.

They did all this while I had a two week old newborn. Honestly, I wished I had never hired them.

Great Service and Communication

Moved house last week and Alfie and his team were fantastic. They arrived earlier than proposed and worked tirelessly on carefully packing all my items.

Excellent service, and the communication was professional and regular. Thank you for your hard work and for making what is normally a stressful occasion a relatively simple task.

Aside from moving my items, they also took care of my rubbish removal, taking furniture I no longer required.

Alban City Removals were great! They were professional, communicative and reliable. They took care of all my possessions both big and small. Couldn’t have asked for a better house moving experience, I would definitely recommend them.

The team that helped me move were so easy to chat to and were a great help.

They helped disassemble and reassemble to make things easier to fit and move.

They worked late into the evening due an unexpected event.

The service provided by Mr Javed was more than expected. Very helpful and friendly. I was worried with my heavy crates but he made it so easy for me. I would highly recommend the company. And thank you very much for the help.

Last Minute

Alfie and team came to our rescue 10 days before our move which was 5 days before Christmas when our previously arranged company could no longer service that date. The price was within range of other previous quotes we’d had but a bit more than our arranged company. It was for packing too but he did ask us to do some ourselves for the price quoted. The team were efficient and polite and took care of my new carpet at the new house. They put the beds and sofa back together and nothing got broken at all. I would have no problem recommending this company.

Great moving company

I used Alfie and his team today to move and they were brilliant. Communication throughout the process was great. On the day they were courteous, really careful and friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better team of movers! Arrived on time, great value for money, and the team all had a really friendly and reassuring manner which does give you a peace of mind you don't realise you need! Everything was placed in the selected rooms. Great value for money and worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Removal and house clearance

I have used Alfie and his team regularly over the last few years. They are reliable, efficient and do an excellent job.

The removal part was stress free, everything well organised and reassembled at the new address. They also provided a house clearance service which was very helpful.

Would definitely use Alfie again in the future and recommend his services.

Redbourn --->Flitwick

Not an easy drive along the M1, but Alfie and his team were great in packing up the van and even faster in getting things unloaded so we could get on and get settled by the end of that weekend.

Great communication and fair pricing considering the inflation.

Friendly and helpful.

Hopefully we don't have to move for a while but if I'm going back to herts I'll be using them again.
